Every child has the right to go to school.
Every first Sunday of the month there is something extra tasty with the coffee for € 1 or more, which you can donate for a concrete charity, far away or nearby. On Sunday 7 November it was for street children in Congo.
In 2012, we as a Foundation decided to rent a market stall at the Fancy Fair and the Braderie in Oosthuizen (NH) to raise money for The Good Samaritan by means of information and the sale of bags. In this way we were able to explain to visitors what the Foundation does for street children in Congo.
The Good Samaritan Foundation has received a check for no less than 100 Euros from the board of OBS Het Kraaiennest in Oosthuizen. The donation was paid from the proceeds of the Fancy Fair organized by the school in 2012.
In August 2011, we visited Congo on behalf of The Good Samaritan. Before reaching the intended location for a Umbrella for Street Children, we passed a Sunday school on the way in the Makala district of the capital Kinshasa.
